The Air Jordan 16 (XVI) Original (OG) - Black / Varsity Red (3/4 High Men) was released on February 17, 2001, and retailed for $160. They were the original colorway of the Air Jordan 16 (XVI), and are set to be retroed in 2008 as part of the Air Jordan 7 (VII) / Air Jordan 16 (XVI) Countdown Package. They feature an all black leather upper with a patent leather toe, as well as red accents, and a clear outsole. The only thing wrong with the Air Jordan 16 (XVI) is that they do not have great traction, as there is not enough rubber on the bottom.
